Google has revealed a new "Samsung ChromebooK"

Google has introduced a new Samsung Chromebook.

It is now available for pre-order for $249. This is ARM based which includes an 11.6 in, 1366*768 display. It weights in at 1.1kg and is 0.8in thin. Google promised over 6.5 hours of battery life and 100GB of Google drive cloud storage for two years.

It is also includes a VGA camera and ports for USB 2.0 and 3.0. There is built in dual band wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 compatibility. This Cromebook runs an ARM cortex A15 processor known as the Samsung Exynos 5 dual Processor. Its predecessor, the Samsung Chromebook 550, runs an intel core processor.

The senior vice president for Chrome at Google said, “In order to have one, two or more computers around the house, they need to be easy to use and much more affordable. So together with Samsung, we designed a new laptop-the new Samsung chromebook for $249-the computer for everyone”.

The Samsung Chromebook will be in 30 PC world and currys stores in the UK, 5000 Best buy stores in the US, and on Google play.
