Apple has announced its smaller iPad now officially known as
the iPad Mini. At 6 pm tonight, Apple boss Tim Cook has introduced Apple’s
latest blockbuster product- iPad Mini.
In the US
it will cost $329 for the wi-fi 16GB model or $459 starting prices for 16GB
with Wi-Fi plus celluer and will be available on November 2. iPad Mini has the same screen resolution as
the iPad 2.
Last month Amazon released its new Kindle Fire HD which
starts at $199 which starts at $199, Google launched Nexus 7 for $199, Barness
& Noble released the Nook HD and the smaller iPad will start at $329.
The smaller iPad has a new aluminium and glass design 7.2mm thick and 0.68 pounds. As per 23
percent thinner and 53 percent lighter compared to the 7-inch tablets and up to
67 percent more usable viewing area when browsing the web. The dual-core A5
chip on the iPad mini allows for responsive graphics and multi-touch experience.
